Armed robbery, Loganlea

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Loganlea this afternoon.

Initial information suggests that at 1.30pm, a man entered a bottle shop on Sarah Street when he approached the attendant at the counter.

The man then produced a knife and made demands for cash and when the attendant complied, the man fled the scene on foot and was last seen on Sarah Street.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The man is described as being Pacific Islander in appearance, around 178cms tall with a solid build and dark hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue Adidas hooded jumper and had a blue bandana over his face.

Investigations are continuing.
